Job description

We’re looking for a mid-to-senior level frontend engineer to join our team of 10 full stack developers & 2 designers, primarily working with Ruby on Rails & Elasticsearch on the backend and VueJS on the frontend with a desktop & mobile SPA (powered by Cordova).

Streem provides a media intelligence platform that captures, analyzes and reports on online, print, TV, radio and social media with a data rich product, which has been getting lots of praise from customers switching over from legacy players.

We have plenty of ideas to keep improving it though, and are looking for someone who’s got experience working on complex applications, with a focus on long term productivity and maintainability through the roll out of a component based design system and increased focus on unit & end-to-end testing (and upgrading to Vue 3 soon!)

Based in Sydney, Australia we’d prefer someone able to be at the office a couple of days a week.

How to apply

Send us your resume and a few words about you and we’ll reach out for an introductory video call, then give you a reasonable & realistic take-home exercise, which we’ll discuss in a 2nd & final interview. It’s more about showcasing your attitude and approach to software development and learning than your exact skills at that point in time.
